Metal Devastation Radio, also known as MDR, was established in September of 2013, by Zach and Marietta Moonshine. Metal Devastation Radio was created to be an all-inclusive radio station and website, incorporating independent music with mainstream music. Our main goal is and has always been to promote underground music from both unsigned bands and bands on small labels.

The Southern groove metal quartet was spawned in late 2012 by TIM SCOTT (ex-REVENANT, ex-HATEPLOW) and his brother DYLAN CAMPBELL along with Tim’s long time friend JIMI MASTERBO The band has released its debut album “The Devil’s Own” on DARK STAR RECORDS in 2017.

METHANE has confirmed SLAKTFEST 4 in Östersund Sweden for Saturday, September 16. Slakt in Swedish means “Slaughter”. Slaughterfest 4 will take place at the Old Slaughterhouse in Östersund. This is METHANE’s first trip to Östersund, but not the first trip to Norrland where the band has headlined METAL INFERNO fest 2 times in Kramförs Sweden. We are stoked to get back up to northern Sweden! Slaktfest 4 is a 2 day event being held on September 15 and 16. Methane To Support Nervosa
In the beging of August Swedish groove metal band Methane will be playing 2 showcases with Brazilian thrash metalers Nervosa. The band has recently released it’s debut album ‘The Devil’s Own‘ (Sony/Dark Star) . The band is joined by new drummer Olle Ekman, former lead singer of Deals Death.

Methane will be announcing a new Scandinavian tour soon for the fall including Norweigen and Swedish tour dates. Methane was formed in 2012 by ex Revenant (Nuclear Blast) and ex HatePlow (feat. Rob Barret of Cannibal Corpse) bassist Tim Scott. The band has toured in the U.S. and Scandinavia , has been featured on a number of compilation CDs and even on Scottish mini series Metalhedz.

Swedish groove metal band Methane has recently released it’s debut album ‘The Devil’s Own‘ (Sony/Dark Star) and now will be returning to Finland from June 1-3. The band is joined by new drummer Olle Ekman, former lead singer if Deals Death. In 2016 Methane was a guest of The Heavy Metal Heart Festival featuring Battle Beast.
“This is our third trip to Finland and we can’t wait to get back, I mean this is what we live for. Last time it was a little too much salmiakkikossu.” (*laughs) ” We’ll see what kind of trouble we can find this time around.” said Tim Scott
